Locum - Physician - Radiology-Diagnostic/Interventional St. Petersburg, FL

8am - 5pm, on call 5pm - 7am

Duration: immediate ongoing; vacation coverage

Shifts:minimum 5 shifts per month

• Active DEA
• Active FL State License - will consider non-licensed needing to apply
• Board Certified (Boards must be taken within 5 years completion of residency)

Voice Recognition and PACS: Connect

Setting: inpatient

Privileges: 90-120 days

Required Skillset:will need to perform all areas of interventional radiology and read diagnostic studies in between interventional radiology procedures:

Diagnostic: Plain film, Fluoroscopy, Nuclear medicine, MRI, CT, Ultrasound

Interventional:Biopsies, Drainages, Punctures, Major Interventional Procedures

Daily DX Volume:202 cases per 24 hrs

Daily IR Volume:8 IR cases per 24 hrs

% of Modality Split:80% DX / 20% IR

Required Procedures:Lumbar Puncture, Joint injection, Ct Guided Biopsies, Chest Tubes, Myelograms, Embolizations, other IR Procedures

Average # of RVUs per day:About 6 per hour.
