Job Description

Locums Danville, Virgina, Pediatrics Hospitalist OpeningClinical Role:

    • 10/1/2024 Ongoing
    • 24 hour call coverage, 10am - 10am, see all babies born, c-section coverage, perform consults in the ED when asked, facilitate transfer when asked, admit to pediatric unit
    • Call Only
    • EMR: Athena & Meditech
    • Beds in Facility 6
    • Current daily census is 4 - 6 patients for the nursery and 1 patient for peds. Peds floor is open Monday @ 7am - Friday @ 7pm. Average number of deliveries per year is 770
    • C-Section Coverage - Required
    • Admissions Required
    • Assigned/Unassigned Patients
    • Board Certified/Bord Eligible Required
    • Active VA License Required
    • Fellowship Required
    • PALS, NRP Required
    • Call Type: Beeper
    • Call Response Time Required: 30 minutes
