Job Description

Locums Asheville, North Carolina, Pediatric Endocrinology OpeningClinical Role:

    • Start: 11/30/24
    • Duration: 3 Months
    • Clinic and Call Coverage
    • 8-hour days Monday thru Friday with 24-hour call Monday thru Sunday
    • Call is mostly phone calls (mommy clinic calls + hospital/ER Phone Calls)
    • Would be unrestricted home call
    • Would only need to come in for a new diabetic consult (typically a 48hr admission and only needs to come in at least once to meet the family and arrange f/u)
    • Hospitalists admit and manage most patientswith phone call support
    • Need one FTE total
    • Support Staff: 1 RN, 1 LPN, 1 MA, 1 referral coordinator/scheduler & centralized registration
    • EMR: Cerner Powerchart
    • Must have NC License and DEA
    • Board Certified Pediatric Endocrinology
