Locums Tacoma, Washington, Pediatrics Cardiology Job (IMLC Accepted)Clinical Role:

    • End Date: Fall 2025
    • The site is looking at a week at a time
    • Scheduled Hours and Call
    • M-F 8-5 and call
    • Needing 2.0 FTE
    • Reason for coverage: Clinic acquisitions, trying to maintain previous patient volumes
    • Call schedule 1:4
    • Call back %: 25%
    • Assigned/Unassigned Patients
    • Open to a flexible schedule or job share with another provider
    • Patients per day per physician: 8-10
    • Admissions Required
    • Hospital Stroke Certified
    • Facility will accept multiple providers
    • Support staff: 2 other MDs, other locums, sonographers, MAs, LPNs, RN
    • Nuclear, EKG, ECHOS, TEEs
    • The Interventional locum will not perform electives as well as STEMI
    • Night calls will be general

      • Central line
      • Arterial lines
      • UVC
      • UAC
      • Lumbar puncture
      • Paracentesis
      • Thoracentesis
      • Chest tube insertion
      • Needle pneumothorax
      • Decompression
      • X-ray interpretation
      • EKG interpretation
      • PA Catheter
      • Exchange transfusion
      • Suturing minor lacerations
      • Circumcision (type)
      • Swallow studied
    • Board certification - Required
    • BLS Required
    • Active WA License Required or IMLC Accepted
    • Fellowship Preferred
    • Trauma Level II
    • EMR: Epic
