Hours Required ' 8 hours per month on an ongoing basis
Compensation: $1280.00 per month ' This compensation is based upon the estimated work on a hourly basis of 8 hours per month at the compensation rate of $160.00 per hour.
Oversight Physician Services. a) At the Clinic, Occupational Health Physician will provide Oversight Physician Services in support of the Clinic's ongoing operation. Hours required for the provision of Oversight Physician Services are established to consist of eight (8) hours per month, on an ongoing basis. The duties to be performed by Occupational Health Physician are provided in Exhibit A. b) Oversight Physician Services will be furnished on a virtual basis. However, as mutually agreeable, Occupational Health Physician may schedule an onsite visit to the Clinic for onsite review. If such an onsite visit is conducted then the hours of operation by Occupational Health Physician during the month in which the visit occurs and during the preceding and immediately subsequent month will be reduced accordingly so that no more than eight (8) hours of service are required per month in support of Clinic operation. c) If an onsite visit is agreed upon then Sterling Medical will pay the cost of travel by the Occupational Health Physician to the Clinic location inclusive of round-trip flight, rental automobile, and onsite lodging, if required. Such travel in support of any onsite visits will be scheduled through, arranged, and paid for by Sterling Medical's travel department.
- Overview of Clinic Services
At the Clinic, the Physician Assistant, Occupational Health Nurse, and Certified Medical Assistant will provide occupational health services in support of the workplace needs of the Department of State ('DOS') workforce at the Blackstone Site. The Clinic will perform treatment of management of work injuries, advice and support for medical surveillance exams and fitness for duty exams, and occupational surveillance services, including audiogram screenings, blood level lab testing, and lead exposure exams. The Clinic will provide periodic vaccinations and will manage urgent and emergent patients for subsequent referral and handoff.
In its operations, the Clinic will observe Office of Safety and Health Administration ('OSHA') worker's compensation, and any applicable Department of State guidelines.
The Clinic will comply with applicable standards and policies regarding medical record keeping, patient confidentiality, patient privacy, and data protection.
- Services to be Furnished by Occupational Health Physician
Occupational Health Physician will provide oversight of the Clinic through the use of Clinic protocols ('Protocols'). Occupational Health Physician will assist in reviewing and updating Protocols for the Clinic. Occupational Health Physician will review medical surveillance protocols and occupational medical surveillance services furnished at the Clinic. Occupational Health Physician will serve as supervising physician for the Physician Assistant at the Clinic. Occupational Health Physician will review and supervise operation of CLIA waiver laboratory services furnished in support of Clinic operation. Occupational Health Physician will review and approve new formulary items for the Clinic formulary. Occupational Health Physician will sponsor the procurement of medical supplies, testing kits, and over-the-counter and prescription medications for the Clinic, as medically appropriate. Occupational Health Physician will review a quarterly sample of redacted cases from the Clinic for quality control purposes and provide an evaluation.
