Occupational Therapist Duties: *Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to maximize Solder performance and improve unit readiness. *Develop programs to optimize performance behaviors or mitigate injury risk. *Perform formal and informal evaluations in the various areas, such as physical, psychological, cognitive, activities of daily living (ADLs), functional and adaptive skills, and, work and occupational role performance. *Plan, coordinate, and implement goal-oriented group and/or behavioral-focused individual treatment programs. *Apply the use of therapeutic modalities and new integrative techniques and technologies. *Participate on an interdisciplinary team to coordinate the rehabilitation or wellness activities for individual Soldiers or groups of Soldiers with the brigade. *Educate on the injury/disease process and its effect on function, joint protection, energy conservation, ergonomic needs, work simplification, and cognitive compensatory techniques.
