POSITION DUTIES: - Performs daily quality control checks of the ultrasound machines. - Recognizes and reports equipment malfunctions, including problems with the department's digital imaging archival and reporting system. - Performs complex diagnostic ultrasound examinations and/or procedures - Performs a wide variety of complex ultrasound examinations of human patients to aid in the diagnosis of disease or injury. Performs other duties as assigned.
