A Federally Qualified Health Center in the Bronx is currently seeking a licensed Psychiatrist for a promising position with their growing team.

About the Opportunity

• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 830am to 5:30pm
• Setting: Outpatient
• Call: No Call

Responsibilities:

The Psychiatrist will:

• Prescribe, direct, and administer psychotherapeutic treatments or medications to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders.
• He/She will collaborate with physicians, psychologists, social workers.
• Discuss care plans and progress in collaborative team approach model.
• Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical histories, reports, and examination results
• Maintain complete and accurate medical records.
• Review patient's history and perform physical examination
• Evaluate, diagnose and provide appropriate treatment and patient care for disorders and diseases

Qualifications:

• Current unrestricted NY medical license
• Board Certified/Eligible in Psychiatry (MD/DO)
• DEA / BLS / ACLS

Desired Skills:

• Fluent in Spanish
• FQHC Experience Preferred
• 2 years of experience in previous mental health setting, outpatient clinic, or hospital
