A facility in California is looking for a Pediatric Hospitalist to provide locum tenens support. This opportunity offers weekly compensation, covered travel accommodations, and different scheduling options to choose from. 

Practice Setting

• Level II NICU
• 6-bed NICU
• 5-bed Pediatric unit
• Facility features 18 postpartum rooms

Schedule

• Option 1: 12-hour day shift with APP support
  • Second-rounder during the week
  • Backup night shift call
• Option 2: 12-hour night shift
  • Average of 5-8 calls
  • See patients within 12 hours, critical patients within 3 hours

Cases and Procedures

• ED consultations (average of 2-4 per 24-hour shift)
• Well-baby rounding with community pediatricians
• High-risk deliveries and C-sections
• Intubation
• UAC/UVC lines

Requirements

• Board-certified Pediatrician
• PALS and NRP-CCS certifications
• California Medical License

Travel and Lodging

• Travel and lodging support is provided
