Athens, Ohio, Pediatric Hospitalist Job

Clinical Role:

- Newborn nursery care with NICU support from Neonatologists
- The team will consist of 3 Pediatric Hospitalists
- 24/7 on-call coverage -- round and go model with call from home
- Pediatric Hospitalists will perform circumcisions
- Pediatric Consultations: Provide expert pediatric consultations to the emergency department, offering timely assessments, recommendations, and treatment plans for pediatric patients
- Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with a team of pediatric hospitalists and neonatologists to provide coordinated and comprehensive care to patients, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment
- Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI): The ability to participate in CQI initiatives and clinical research projects, contributing to the enhancement of patient care outcomes and best practices
- Knowledge Exchange: Take advantage of the opportunity to exchange ideas and best practices with a large network of providers, including over 400 NICUs and several thousand providers
