Locums Redding, California, Orthopedic Surgery JobClinical Role:

  • Start Date: April 2025 ongoing for 9 - 12 months
  • Schedule: 24hr call 7a - 7a
  • Days Needed/Month: 8 - 12 days per month
  • Setting: Acute Care, Level IITrauma Center
  • Duties: ED call, rounds, and consultations
  • EMR: Cerner Care B
  • Support Staff: Hospital has hospital-based APPs that support the ortho-spine service line. Hospital has a separate call panel for neurosurgery
  • Reason for Coverage: One of two orthopedic trauma specialists in the community is relocating
  • Board Certified - Required
  • Active CA License Required
  • Current CA fluoroscopy permit REQUIRED by start date. Will consider those willing to obtain as long as they will have it by April 2025
  • DEA Required
  • Site is level IItrauma but acts as level Itrauma.
  • Provider must have a fellowship in Ortho Trauma
