Seeking a skilled Maxillofacial Surgeon to join our team on a locum tenens basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in critical care or surgical trauma.

Position Details:

• Coverage Period: February to April 2025 (2 weeks per month, 7 days straight)
• Hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, including call coverage
• No Clinic Work: Focus solely on hospital consults and follow-ups

Perform maxillofacial trauma surgeries and other surgical consults

• Serve as the first assist in surgeries
• Provide inpatient and emergency department consults
• Manage an average of 15 consults and/or post-operative patient rounds per day (85% adults, 15% pediatric cases)
• EMR: EPIC

Requirements:

NC license, Active and Unrestricted (NO IMLC LOQ)

BC-Maxillofacial Surgeon; Sub-specialty in Acute Care or Trauma preferred (but not required)

ACLS & DEA Required.

COVID Vaccinated

COMPENSATION:

Competitive Market Rate (rate based on availability, experience, certifications, housing and transportation needs, etc.)
