Hematology/Oncology Opportunity

Enjoy 4 Day Workweek

1 Hour from Asheville, NC

Join staff at our brand-new regional Cancer Center opened in August 2023. Located 1 hour from Asheville and 1 hour 15 minutes to Charlotte.

Opportunity Overview:

98% Outpatient practice

1:3 Call; Hospitalists facilitate admissions

All calls are first routed through 24/7 oncology nurse's line

Never called into hospital

8a-5p Monday-Thursday, 1/2-day Friday (8a-12p)

Caseload 13-15 Patients/day

2 PA's on Staff

2 Radiation Oncologists

2 new linear accelerators

24 infusion chairs

Patient navigators & cancer support groups

Opportunity for tumor board and cancer committee engagement

Network with nationally renowned cancer specialists on complex cases

Option for clinical trials

Precepting residents available

  • Diagnostics Include:
    • X-ray, CT
    • Ultrasound
    • Mammography
    • Bone Density
    • Nuclear
    • Mobile PET & Mamo
    • MRI & Breast MRI

Opportunity to Precept - Graduate Medical Education
