University Medicine Associates (UMA) is a mission-driven, non-profit, primary care and multi-specialty group associated with University Health. UMA is comprised of 500 credentialed providers who offer more than eighteen different types of services in over twenty-five locations across San Antonio.

UMA is presently seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Family Medicine physician to conduct domestic medical screening exams on Refugees, Paroles, Asylees and Victims of human trafficking. The scope includes review of overseas records, records from Safe Haven entry clinics, review of history, ordering screening labs, performing physicals, identifying infectious disease, providing parasite treatments, treating minor medical conditions during the medical screening exam visit as well as providing referrals to City Chest clinic, PCP or urgent care as necessary.
