Seeking a locum BC/BE Emergency Medicine physician for ongoing coverage

--Shift times: 7a-7p, 7p-7a

--On-site, call coverage, weekends, nights

--Required procedures: intubation, procedural sedation, fracture reduction/splinting, chest tube, CPR, suture repair, I&D, central line

--Support staff: nurses, on call specialists

--Average patient census: 55-60 daily, 2 patients per hour, occasional larger boluses of patients (8+ in an hour)

--Most common cases: medical complaints (chest pain, abd pain, sob), basic trauma (fall, mvc, sports injury).

--Rarely severe or penetrating trauma

--1 EM physician on staff per shift

--Orientation: 2 shadow shifts
