Locums Fredericksburg, Virginia, Emergency Medicine Opening

Clinical Role:

- Duration: 3 Months
- Projecting 8,500 Anticipated ER visits year 1, approximately 23 visits per day
- 24 hours of Physician Coverage. 7 am and 7 pm shift change
- We will consistently look at flow and make coverage adjustments/increases as necessary
- 10,000 square feet
- Fully equipped Trauma Bay
- Separate adult and pediatric waiting area
- 11 private treatment rooms
- State of the art imaging, including CT, Ultrasound, and Radiology
- Ambulance bay for EMS access
- Patients needing to be admitted to an inpatient bed will be transported to the main campus with seamless care handoff to our excellent intensivists, hospitalists, and specialists
- There are additional opportunities to work at the main campus
- Must be BC/BE via the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM). ABPS EM boarded candidates are welcome
