Locums Fort Myers, Florida, Cardiothoracic Surgery OpeningClinical Role:

    • ASAP 9/30/25
    • Inpatient coverage M-F, Rotating weekends
    • M-F 7a-5p, Sat-Sun 7a-5p based on census
    • Call Coverage Needs: Every 4th weekend & rotating weeknight call coverage onsite
    • Looking to hire a potentially long-term locum
    • This position will work collaboratively with our team of cardiothoracic surgeons
    • We currently have 2 tenured and 1 recent grad cardiothoracic surgeons
    • Our surgeons currently perform approximately 1500 cases each year
    • The Cardiothoracic Surgery team is supported by a team of Surgical Physician Assistants, Open Heart ICU APRNs and office based APRNs
    • Requirements: All aspects of Cardiac, Aortic and Lung surgery except for esophageal
    • Must have clear - no malpractice in order to qualify for temporary privileges
