5/26/25 Ongoing Need
Shift: 7a-7p, 7p-7a
Orientation: 2 Shadow Shifts
Procedures including but not limited to: intubation, procedural sedation, fracture reduction/splinting, chest tube, CPR, suture repair, I&D, central line
Support Staff: nurses, on-call specialists
Patient Census: 55-60 daily. 2 patients per hour), occasional larger boluses of patients (8+ in an hour)
Common Cases: medical complaints (chest pain, abd pain, sob), basic trauma (fall, mvc, sports injury). Rarely severe or penetrating trauma
EM physicians typically on staff per shift: 1
