A hospital is seeking an anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage.
The hospital is out of Glenwood Springs, CO.
This position is needed ASAP and is ongoing, with flexible Monday-Friday hours. Full-time is preferred, but 2-3 weeks per month is acceptable. Call is required and can be arranged in multi-day stretches or alternating rotations based on availability, with 24-hour beeper call on weekdays and weekends. The role involves a heavy focus on heart cases and general procedures, with case volume varyingtypically 1-2 open heart surgeries per week and 1-2 full days of EP/cath lab cases per week. The EMR system is Meditech, and the model operates with no supervision. If an MD role, 100% of procedures are personally performed by the physician.
