A corrections facility is seeking a Family Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in Clinton, New Jersey.
This position requires a board-certified MD, preferably in Family Medicine, though Internal Medicine may be considered, with a valid NJ license. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with call responsibilities only for providers working more than 20 hours per week. Patient volume ranges from 10 to 20 adult female patients per day, and support staff includes nursing staff and medical assistants. The facility uses paper charts for documentation, and the ideal candidate should be comfortable performing suturing, incision and drainage, and joint injections. Credentialing takes approximately 30 days.
