A large hospital is seeking an anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage.
Central Illinois is full of hidden gems! Visit Beaver Dam State Park, and Fox Ridge State Park, or stroll around small towns including Quincy or Arcola!
They need an Anesthesiologist for one weekend a month for a 24-hour in-house weekend shift on either Sat or Sun. with the clinician primarily supervising an experienced team of CRNAs. Cases include bread and butter, pediatrics, ENT, ears, eyes, general surgery, GYN, bariatrics, and orthopedics, with no OB or CV cases for locums. Requirements include an active Illinois license or IMLC LOQ, BLS (AHA), and an active IL DEA. The clinician must provide ample case logs from the past two years and have a clean background with no malpractice history or large payouts. Credentialing takes 6090 days, and a COVID vaccination is required.
