Details:

Reason for need:Have 2 anticipated departures coming around mid-June (retirement and academic change)
Program is a Laborist program ("doc in the box") 24/7 covers L&D and OB Triage and occasionally has to go to ER for some female related GYN issues.
OB/GYN residents there 24/7 but no APP coverage
Would be responsible for supervising residents - no exceptions
Private practice deliveries on that unit
Level 3 NICU staffed by neonatologists and APP
27 beds + triage and OR in addition to those.
400 c-sections per year
Will do elective inductions but not commonly
Must be comfortable with c-sections; emergency DNC, DNE
24 hour anesthesia that covers OB
Recently developed dry epidural program
Don't do a lot of high risk
Credentialing timeframe: 90-120 days

Submission Requirements:

Board Certified -REQUIRED
MI License -Highly Preferred(willing to accept with IMLC)
Clean Background/No Malpractice -Highly Preferred
Local Candidates- Highly Preferred(open to candidates who need full travel)
Would be responsible for supervising residents - no exceptions-Required
