Southern Georgia Anesthesiology Critical Care Position 1 Hour from Valdosta

• Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible Anesthesiology Critical Care physician
• Completion or upcoming completion of anesthesiology residency and a critical care fellowship
• Required certifications/licensure: Board certified physician or board certification eligible (if eligible, must obtain board certification within 4 years); Georgia Medical License or participation in Interstate Medical Licensure Compact
• No Cardiac (heart) or Neurosurgery (head) cases. Bread and Butter general anesthesia cases performed (nerve blocks, A-lines, epidurals,, etc.)
• 8-9 cases a day- 700 cases a month (~200 of those are endoscopies)
• OB services (750 deliveries a year)
• A lot of robotic cases; state-of-the-art medical equipment/technology (4 Da Vinci Robots, the mako robot, etc)
• Established Medical Center with over 80 Physicians and 20 specialties
• New Grads welcome!
• Schedule- 26 weeks on/26 weeks off (typically 7 on/off unless mutually agreedupon by anesthesiologist team)
• 2anesthesiologists scheduled per shift; supervise CRNA'S and AA's
• Call required during week on; critical care call and back up foranesthesiologists on
