Inpatient Cardiology with Flexible Scheduling

We are seeking a Cardiology physician for a one-week-a-month locum tenens opportunity. This position offers a flexible schedule with a quick credentialing process, allowing you to make a significant impact without a long wait.

Highlights

• One week per month, with a mix of weekday and weekend shifts
• Routine procedures and weekly compensation

Practice Setting

• Inpatient care at a medical center 
• Collaborative team of 10 physicians and 4 APPs
• Adult patient population only, ensuring focused care

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 5pm-7am
• Saturday to Monday, 7am-7pm

Procedures and Cases

• EKG interpretation, Echocardiograms, and Nuclear Stress Tests
• Comprehensive cardiac evaluations and management
• Manage inpatient consults, with an average of 18-20 consults per day

Requirements

• Board Certified in Cardiology
• ACLS, BLS, and DEA certifications required
• Must be licensed in North Carolina prior to start
