- Start Date: 03/31/2025
- Shifts needed per month: 8-12 minimum
- Minimum Shifts Required: 6shifts per month
- Available Shift Times: 6a-6p, 6p-6a OR 7a-7p, 7p-6a
- Experience Required: 2 years min.
- Support staff: APPs
- 24-hour hospitalist coverage for admissions
- 24-hour real-time Radiology reading of all studies
- 24-hour in-house X ray and CT with US on call at night
- Patients per day: 30-50 depending on the location
- Annual Volume: Average of 10,000-23,000 annual patient visits per emergency department
- Trauma Level: All locations are level II
- Patient population/age: All ages
- EMR: EPIC
- Skills required: Physician will manage multiple patients both with serious and non-serious illnesses and injuries including heart attacks, stroke, motor vehicle accidents, severe infections, and pneumonia, and perform assessments, diagnostic procedures, and medical treatments as needed to resuscitate or stabilize patients and refer them to the appropriate medical departments.
- Practice Setting: Hospital(will be credentialed at 6 locations 1 credentialing process)
- Requirements: ATLS / ACLS / PALS (ATLS and PALS not required for ABEM)
- Board Certification: BC EM and FM, (ABPS EM and FM also accepted) BE is not accepted.
- State license required: IN (willing to license)
- DEA: Yes
- CSR: Yes
- Certifications required: If EM boarded just need DEA/CSR
