Locums Colorado Springs, Colorado, Hospitalist Opening (IMLC Accepted)
  • Clinical Role:

    • 3 Providers Requested
    • Providers are required to help with coverage at all 4 facilities
    • Providers are expected to work 12-hour shifts and are required to cover all shift types (days, nights, and swing)
    • 12-hour shifts - Days, Nights, and Swing
    • Setting: Inpatient
    • Duties: Cross-Covers, Admits, and Rounding Hospitalist duties
    • EMR: EPIC
    • Support Staff: NP/PA
    • Reason for Coverage: Looking to build their provider pool and account for providers coming up on their 6-month break
    • Open ICU, however, intensivists APP in ICU at night
    • No Procedures
    • EMR Required Training:
      • Module (learn lessons) Must be completed prior to virtual EMR training to attend the training
      • EMR Virtual training Only able to attend if Modules are completed before training. Virtual training must be completed before the providers first day and is only available Mon-Fri for scheduling
    • Board Certification Internal Medicine or Family Medicine - Required
    • Active CO license - Required or IMLC (LOQ in hand)
    • Active ACLS - Required
    • Active DEA - Required (site will consider a transferred DEA, however, must keep this DEA for the duration of the assignment, not just for shifts worked.)
    • Local candidates only - Required - NO FLIGHTS will pay lodging and mileage only
    • Candidates are required to note that they are willing to provide coverage at all 4 locations - Required
    • Candidates are required to note that they are able to cover days, nights, and swings - Required
    • Clean malpractice/background - Required, candidates who present with a self-inquiry NPDB report will be placed with a higher priority.
