Job Description:
- Open to4-day or 5-daywork week. 40 hours per week, 34 patient facing hours.
- Call is 1 in every 13 weeks, weeklong call from Monday evening to the following Monday morning. Phone calls only, they never have to go in for anything. The amount of calls vary ' obviously during things like flu season, etc they are higher.
- This practice also offers refugee health assessments in conjunction with the New York State Department of Health. Clinical social workers are onsite for consultation, assessment, and referrals.
Job Requirements:
- TRULY Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility working toward BC) or Board Certified inFamily Medicine -REQUIRED
- NY License (or willing to obtain)-REQUIRED
- DEA (or willing to obtain) -REQUIRED
- Strong desire to work with refugee population -HIGHLY PREFERRED
