Locums Tulsa, Oklahoma, Addiction Medicine Job

Clinical Role:

- Locum need
- Seeking a family medicine or internal medicine physician
- Board certification is not required
- Addiction medicine experience preferred, not required
- Must be able to assess medical appropriateness to be in the clients addiction recovery facility
- Youd also initiate/continue clients on substance use discontinuation protocols
- Reason for need: physician on PTO
- Adult patients only
- Needs are December 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 30, and 31
- Work 8a-5p
- December 23 would be a shadowing shift with the staff physician who will be on PTO the other days
- See 16-18 patients per day
- Work alongside a MA/nurse
- EMR: an Echo product called VHR
- Prescribing platform: New Crop
- Must be able to bill for Medicaid patients
