Locum Dover/Milford, Delaware, Pediatrics Hospitalist Job (IMLC Accepted)

Clinical Role:

- Desperately needing FT 24/7 coverage at this site ASAP and will look at providers who can help minimum 2 - 3 shifts per week. The team said they can be flexible with 24hr shifts or 12hr. They expect the need to go for 3 months with the likelihood of extension but is all based on the conversation they have with a group they are considering to come in an replace the group that is leaving in December
- Target start date and Length of need: ASAP for 3 months with likelihood to extend
- EMR system: EPIC
- Reason for Coverage: Current Pediatric Group is leaving in December
- FTE or Shifts per month needed: 2 - 3 FTE
- Inpatient Setting
- Locums Shift Schedule: 7a - 7a but willing to look at 12hrs however The site needs 24/7 pediatric coverage onsite Mon-Sun
- Type of Patients/Cases/Procedures Required: Peds need to be comfortable with Newborn to 18 years inpatient acute care/ med surg/pediatrics 6 bed unit; no PICU at Kent ; intermediate and below
- Patient Encounters per shift: Newborn assessment/discharges 7-10 ; PEDS on the unit 1-3
- Available support staff: RNs
- Board Certified/Board Eligible Required
- Vaccination Requirements: COVID not require, Flu is required
- Active DE License Required or IMLC
- Minimum candidate commitment to consider: Flexible with availability will accept FT/PT Candidates. Min 1-2 days per week
