Locums Council Bluffs, Iowa, Emergency Medicine Job (IMLC Accepted)

Clinical Role:

- Start: 1/13/25
- Days per month: 4-12 starting in January 2025
- Shifts: 6:30a-2:30p, 1:30p-10:30p, 9:30p-6:30a
- Duties: Routine ER duties, Codes, ER locums do not have a lot of Trauma responsibilities
- EMR: EPIC
- Dictation: Dragon, No Scribes
- Support Staff: 12-20 Hrs. of APP Coverage, Easy transfer center process
- Reason for Coverage: Transition
- Annual volume: 22,000 per year, 77% Discharge, 14% Admissions, 4% LBTC, 2.8% Observation, 2.5% transfer
- Minimum Education: M.D., D.O.
- Training: Completion of an ACGME/AOA approved Emergency Medicine residency program
- Board Certified/Board Eligible (Emergency Medicine), can consider BC FM or IM (with minimum 5 years ED experience)
- Experience: Actively practicing as an Emergency Medicine Physician for the last 12 months or completion of an Emergency Medicine Residency in the last 6 months
- IA License Highly Preferred or IMLC
- ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS
- DEA Required
- Malpractice Clean Preferred
