Locums Dallas, Texas, Pediatrics Hospitalist JobClinical Role:

    • Providers Needed: 2
    • Minimum # of shifts per month: 15-30
    • Shifts: Nights 7pm 7am
    • Night call - Remote - 4 Admits per night
    • Phys Coverage Model: 2 Day Rounders 7a-7p, with one of the 2 docs on night call
    • Beds in Facility: 899 total Beds; 254 Pediatric Beds
    • Facility Annual Volume: 4,914 Inpatient Admissions
    • Daily Patient Load Per Clinician: 18-26 per phys
    • ED or ICU Volume: 28,000 ED Visits
    • Support Staff: APP; 7p-7a
    • No Procedures
    • No Delivieries
    • Call Required
    • Weekend Required at least 1 weekend per month
    • Must have completed a residency in Peds
    • Board Certified/Board Eligible Required
    • Will accept American Board of Physician Specialties (ABPS)
    • EMR: MediTech
    • LPs are the only procedure the peds hospitalist may be called on to do on the floor (Peds ER staff handles those done in the ER) PICU docs run codes
    • Active TX License Required
    • IM, FM & Pediatric Specialties
    • DEA Required
    • ACLS, ATLS, BLS, BTLS, PALS Required
    • Level IV NICU
    • Level IV Maternal hospital
    • Level IV Trauma Designation Adult Hospital
