A physician is needed for PRN- based Outpatient Locums position in Multiple locations- California. Provider must be within 50 miles of the following VES locations:

1. Chico- 10 days per week needed (multiple providers)
2. Eureka- 10 days per week needed (multiple providers)
3. Bakersfield- 10 days per week needed (multiple providers)
4. Ridgecrest- 10 days per week needed (multiple providers)

Providers own office locations- Provider must have their own office within 50 miles of the following cities:

1. Susanville- 1 day per week needed
2. Crescent City- 2 days per week needed
3. Ft Irwin- 1 day per week needed

Physician will perform General Medicine to Adults, exclusively. $650 bonus for completing all required training and working the first shift/exam.

Need is on a PRN up to full-time, half day & full day options.

Accepting specialties: FM/IM/Orthopedic Surgery, etc. or anyone with a background in general medicine, or experience with compensation and pension.

One-Time non-treatment C&P exams + separation health assessments

Exams are primarily interview-based w/some physical assessment. No prescribing/treatment

Quick credentialing and onboarding

PRN shifts- options & rate type are as follows:

o$560: Half-day Rate- flat rate for 4-hour shifts (includes time to complete exams, submit report, including any addendums, not OT, no admin time)

o$1,120: Daily Rate- flat rate for 8-hour shifts (includes times to complete exams, submit, report, including any addendums, no OT, no admin time)

Required:

Active/unrestricted ND state license

BC/BE (within 0-3 years of residency)

Familiar with Musculoskeletal, Diabetes, and Cardio required.

Proficient in METs testing, evaluating, and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions.

Own personal laptop (NO MACS)

Must be willing to wear a mask during all visits.

DMA certified or willing to train/certify.
