Locums Belleville, Illinois, Gastroenterology JobClinical Role:

- 2 weeks of coverage needed monthly - starting 1/13/2025
- Schedule is 24hr On Call Daily to include 8 hours of patient contact, callback hours after 8 hours
- Shift: Current Providers are 14on 14off - On Call Daily 24hr with 8 hours of patient contact
- On Call Requirements: M-Sun
- Onsite Lab
- Onsite X Rays
- EMR - EPIC/ProVation for GI procedure documentation
- Required Procedures:
  - Esophageal Dilatation
  - Small Bowel Biopsy
  - Lower GI Endoscopy
  - Sigmoidoscopy
  - Colonoscopy
  - Insertion/Management of Sengstaken/Blakemore Tube
- Required Types of Upper GI Endoscopy:
  - with Biopsy
  - with Foreign Body Removal
  - with Fulguration of Bleeder (Cautery)
  - with Banding of Varices
  - with ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography)
  - Diagnostic
  - Therapeutic
  - with PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy)
- Board Certified/Board Eligible - Strong preference for BC or a set date for testing for taking the boards. Required
- IL state license - Required, no exceptions
- Covid Vaccination - Required
- DEA Required
- ACLS, BLS Required
