Locums or Locums to Perm Rockport, Maine, Anesthesiology OpeningClinical Role:

- Looking for a Physician to cover their Locum to Perm need starting January 3, 2025
- Schedule: Day shift 0700-1600, night shift home call 1600-0700, weekend 24 hour home call
- Call Schedule: Night float one week at a time if interested
- Dates of Coverage: Start date 01/03/2024 until permanent position is filled
- Weekend Required
- Reason for Coverage: Staff retirement
- Practice Setting: Community hospital with 4 ORs, 2 endo sites, OB
- Call Ratio: On average once every 4 weeks for a full time staff
- EMR: Epic
- Average Number of Surgical Cases Per Day: 10-12
- Trauma Level III
- Number of Anesthesiologists in Practice: 4 FTEs
- Locum Tenen Physician Required to Supervise CRNAs: Yes, care team model. Solo on call
- Locum Tenens Physician Will Not be Responsible for Preparing the Anesthesia Cart
- Patient Age Demographic: 1 years and older
- Number of Operating Rooms: 4
- Required Procedures:
  - General Surgical Cases ADULT
  - General Surgical Cases PEDIATRIC
  - Minor Nerve Blocks
  - IV Regional anesthesia
  - Plexus anesthesi
  - Spinal Anesthesia
  - Epidural Anesthesia
  - Regional Anesthesia
  - Obstetrical Cases
  - Pain Management Procedures: Acute
  - Insertion of Central Line, Arterial line
  - Evaluation and Management of Acute Volume / BP Issues: Yes
- Board Certified Required
- Active ME License Required (will accept providers needing to obtain state license)
- BLS, ACLS, PALS Required
