Locums Johnstown, Pennsylvania, Gastroenterology OpeningClinical Role:

- Multiple dates available in 2025
- Monday through Friday GI Lab hours 8-4, Call is typically 5 pm 5 pm
- Hospital rounds/consults to be completed daily on the assigned weeks. Average 5-10 inpatient consults per day while on-call.
- Hospital rounds/consults on Saturday and Sunday on assigned weekends (4 hours per day of onsite work)
- Patients Per Day: Approx. 10-14 inpatients per day PA to assist M-F
- Rounds, emergencies, outpatient procedures (if needed) and floor consults (6-10 per day) - staff will add patients to inpatient rounding list to see the following morning. May get called in to hospital 1-3 times per week.
- Procedures required/procedures per day: EGDs, Colonoscopies, EGD with Dilatations, Peg placement and change. All the standard GI procedures.
- Requirements:- Current Active PA license- All general GI procedures- Must be Board Certified/Board Eligible within 5 years of Residency through the American Board of Internal Medicine, Subspecialty of Gastroenterology.- Must be Fellowship Trained in Gastroenterology
- BLS Required
- Trauma Level I
- EMR: Epic
- Active PA License or IMLC
