Additional Info: The Psychiatrist is responsible for psychiatric evaluations, psychopharmacological management, and close collaboration with the staff of medical doctors, mid-level practitioners, RNs, and mental health professionals providing psychotherapy services to clients. - Community health setting with Open Access hours, same-day appointments, and walk-in availability.- Our clients are chronically ill with HIV, HCV, heart disease. lung disease and severe and persistent mental illness. Over 75% of the patient population is homeless or marginally housed.- Will serve as the collaborating MD for a full-time psychiatric NP.Requirements:- NY State license and DEA- BC in Psychiatry- 5 years+ of experience- BLS/CPR certification- Experience with addiction medicine, HIV/AIDS, and/or homeless populations preferred- Spanish speaking preferred but not required
