A health services network in New Jersey is currently seeking a licensed Urologist for a promising opportunity at one of their facilities in Bergen County.

Responsibilities:

The Urologist will:

• Conduct thorough medical histories and physical examinations; listen to and discuss patients symptoms and concerns related to the urinary and reproductive systems
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as blood tests, urine tests, imaging studies (ultrasound, CT scans, MRI), and urodynamic studies to diagnose conditions
• Prescribe medications to treat various urological conditions, such as urinary tract infections, kidney stones, and prostate issues
• Provide counseling and education to patients about their conditions and treatment options
• Diagnose and treat cancers of the urinary tract and reproductive organs
• Monitor patients progress post-treatment and make adjustments to the treatment plan as needed
• Schedule regular follow-up appointments to ensure ongoing health and address any concerns
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice medicine in the State of New Jersey
• Board Eligible / Certified in Urology

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Prostate Biopsy, Vasectomy, etc.
