A health services organization on Long Island is currently seeking new licensed OBGYN to join one of their facilities in Nassau County.

About the Opportunity:

• Setting: 100% Outpatient
• Specialty: OBGYN
• Schedule: Monday to Friday (rotated late night once a week)
• Patient Population: Underserved patients (all ages)

Responsibilities:

The OBGYN Physician will:

• Provides quality and comprehensive prenatal and gynecologic care to patients.?
• Responsible for providing consultations requested by the primary care provider.?
• Works closely with the primary care provider to ensure that the patient is getting the best in comprehensive medical care.?
• Participates in continuous improvement and other activities necessary to implement the multi-disciplinary patient-centered medical home approach for the care of patients.?
• Assists in expanding and enhancing the patient services by participating in outreach and community screenings.?
• Participates in case management and patient surveys in maintaining quality assurance.?
• Updates job knowledge by participating in continuing medical educational opportunities;

Qualifications:

• Graduated from an accredited medical school and licensed to practice in New York State.?
• Board certified or board eligible status.?
• At least 1-2 years of experience preferred.?
• Ability to travel to other sites for coverage as needed.?
• Bilingual in English and Spanish or Creole/French required.??
