- - Serve as Pediatrics Physician, responsible for, examination, diagnosis, prevention and treatment of newborns, infants, children, and adolescents. - - Provide care for a broad spectrum of health services, ranging from preventative health care and developmental health care needs to the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic diseases. - - Provide technical oversight of clinical staff (e.g. nurses, social workers, therapists, and various technicians) to enhance team-based care. - - Lead a multi-disciplinary team of individuals who collectively takes responsibility for the ongoing care of patients. - - Teach and provide consultation to other health care providers. - - Attend Continuing Medical Education (CME) to maintain up-to-date knowledge of continually developing medical practices and apply new and relevant findings to the local practice at the medical treatment facility. - - Coordinate and/or integrates care across all elements of the healthcare system.
