JFK Medical Center:

Medical staff requirements: Board-certified or within 5 years of residency in pediatric emergency medicine (PEM) or pediatrics (ABP) with Emergency medicine or Urgent care experience.
Newly graduating pediatric residents may receive additional training before working independently.
EMR: Epic
14 private ED pediatric beds
12% admission rate
24-hour pediatric emergency medicine physician coverage per day
10 hours of pediatric advanced practice clinician coverage per day
