Long term coverage needed.

Immediate available need for 9-12 months beginning ASAP

Location for Coverage - South of Atlanta

Patient Population: estimated patients per day21

Licensed in GA or IMLC

Shifts: Days/hoursclinic: 8-5pm, OR 7:30-3:30pm

24hr Call Coverage may be needed

Description of the need:

Candidate would be able to do both surgeries as well as clinic.

Type of patients: Inpatient rounding, clinic call patients, ED/ACC consults

Type of call: In house and beeper though they do not have to reside on hospital premises 100% of the time

Currently call is on a rotating M/T, W/Th, F/S/S schedule.

*this may change to a 1 week on schedule.

Call ratio would be 1:4 with the locum.

Call Back support:

Covering two sites as needed. May get down to one site.

Average patients seen #s-- the applicant can ask those questions during the interviews if selected

Performs office procedures and more minor surgery.

Would let internal urologists do the bigger, more advanced cases.

Skills Needed:

Robotics no

Admissions no

REQUIRED:

GA state license; active, unrestricted or IMLC

Board certified Urology

COMPENSATION:

Competitive Market Rate (rate based on availability, experience, certifications, housing and transportation needs, etc.)

Malpractice insurance provided; all housing and travel covered
