Job Description

Curative Executive & Academic Search has partnered with Baylor College of Medicine on the national search for an outstanding physician leader to serve as Chief, Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition for Baylor College of Medicine-San Antonio (BCM-SA) at CHRISTUS Children’s in San Antonio, TX.

 

The incoming Division Chief will report directly to the Chair of the Department of Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine - San Antonio. We seek a nationally recognized leader in pediatric gastroenterology who will bring excellence in clinical care, research, education, team building, and scholarly contribution. This is a well-established division with an excellent national reputation, seeking to replace an existing Chief who will be stepping down in 2024. The incoming Chief will be tasked with expansion of the division with early recruitment of additional faculty to support academic and clinical needs.

THE DIVISION

  • Established division of 6 faculty
  • Two (2) nationally regarded fellowship programs - ACGME Pediatric Gastroenterology Fellowship and one of only a few Pediatric Advanced Endoscopy fellowships in the country
