Join us for a Cardiothoracic Surgery assignment in Florence, South Carolina, at a facility with a Level 1 trauma center. You will have access to a strong support staff in an environment that provides quality patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. 

Practice Details:

• Mix of inpatient & outpatient settings in a Level 1 trauma center
• Support staff includes multiple APPs, nurses, MAs, and hospital/office staff
• EPIC is used for charting 

Schedule:

• Frequency of 7-10 days per month starting in July
• Monday - Friday with night/weekend call during the contracted period
  • Swift credentialing timeframe of 30-45 days

Cases and Procedures:

• The patient population consists of adults only
• Cases are focused on:
  • Mainly hearts 
  • TAVR
• Procedures required:
  • Expertise in cardiac surgery is mandatory
  • Experience with TAVR, lung surgery, and robotics a plus

Requirements:

• Board-certified Cardiovascular/Thoracic Surgery
• Valid South Carolina medical license
• ACLS, BLS, and DEA certifications required
