Physician Assistant- School Based Health Clinic

University Medicine Associates (UMA) is a mission-driven, non-profit, primary care and multi-specialty group associated with University Health (UH) in San Antonio, Texas. UMA is comprised of 500 (and growing!) providers who offer more than eighteen different types of services in over twenty-five locations across San Antonio.

UH/UMA is presently seeking a patient-centered board-certified Physician Assistant to deliver high-quality primary care services to school-aged children and their families, school staff, and members of the community, in addition the Physician Assistant will:

• Join a dynamic team of clinicians committed to caring for the under-served.
• Deliver patient care independently with oversight provided by the Medical Director
• Contribute to a culture of patient safety, continuous quality improvement, and innovation
• Engage with the community through visits to school nurses, career fairs, vaccination campaigns, and various community health events
• Perform remote clinical encounters and physical exams using an innovative telemedicine platform in partnership with school districts
