DESCRIPTION:

Mercy Hospital Springfield is seeking full-time Emergency Medicine physicians to provide coverage for up to 20 shifts per month on an ongoing basis. This is a Level 1 Trauma Center.

SUPPORT:

• APP support staff in Triage
• Full array of specialty backup with 24-hour MRI/CT availability
• 24-hour STEMI team, Stroke Team, ED psychiatric service

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have attended an ED residency program
• Eligible or board-certified in ABEM or AOBEM
• ACLS, ATLS, BLS certifications required (AHA)
• We cannot accept Family Medicine board-certified physicians, even with ED fellowship or experience, due to Level 1 Trauma certifications

COMPENSATION:

• Competitive market rate (based on availability, experience, certifications, housing, and transportation needs, etc.)
• Malpractice insurance provided
