Job Description
The Swedish Cancer Institute is seeking full-time Hematology-Oncology advanced practice providers to join its group. In this role, you will work with a diverse team of Oncology professionals, focusing on standard Oncology clinical care (outpatient care, procedures) and engaging with patients participating in clinical trials. Swedish is a leading site in the Pacific NW and in the US for early phase clinical trials in hematologic diseases. This position offers tremendous autonomy while still providing physician support. Physicians within this FACT accredited hematologic malignancy program focus on patients with blood cancers who also may need cellular therapies (autologous stem cell transplant, CAR T cell therapy, investigational cell therapies). This team strives to bring novel therapies such as CAR-T and other immunotherapies to patients who need them. - Outpatient Nurse Practitioner or PA in dedicated hematologic malignancies/cellular therapy clinic
- Typical schedule includes 4 clinic days per week (option for additionally compensated inpatient hem/onc weekend shifts, but weekends not mandatory)
- 2 to 5 years of experience preferred, with prioritization of those with experience in hematologic malignancies (Myeloma, Lymphoma, Cell therapy, Leukemias, MDS). Classical (benign) hematology experience is a plus.
- Care of patients on research clinical trials is part of the role
- Compensation is between $132,133 and $183,959 per hour
- The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. In addition, providers may have CME benefits available to them.
