Required Qualifications

Graduation from an approved program accredited by the Council of Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Education Programs or its predecessor or successor.

Master's Degree in Nursing completion from a Nurse Anesthetist program

Demonstrate current competency by showing evidence that he/she has provided anesthesia services for at least 2000 hours Demonstrate current competency by showing evidence that he/she has provided anesthesia services for at least 2000 hours in the last twenty-four months.

Current California license as a Registered Nurse

Active CA Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist license.

Certification by the Counsel of Certification of Nurse Anesthetists or by a predecessor or successor

Active American Heart Association CPR certification for healthcare providers

Active American Heart Association PALS certification
