Locums - Harlingen, Texas, CRNA JobClinical Role:

Start Date: September
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift Details: 7am end of surgical days
Schedule: M-F
Coverage needs are for every Wednesday and the last Friday of every month. The occasional following Monday
Specialty: CRNA
No Anesthesia backup
Support staff: CRNA
Amount of coverage needed per month: As needed
Patients per day: 8-16
Patient population/age: 12 years - 70 years or so
Department description: Ear, nose & throat 2 x week/ spine cases 2x week / ortho 2-3x week
EMR: Paper
Hospital bed size: 1 OR ASC 2 pre-op / 3 PACU beds
Skills required: Intubations/ Regional blocks
Facility procedures: Lumbar/Cervical Spine decompression, hemi-discectomy, total discectomy, spinal cord stimulator, knee & shoulder and upper limb arthroscopies,
Practice Setting: Ambulatory Surgery Center
Board Certification: NBCRNA
Certifications required: ACLS/ BLS/ PALS
Minimum experience required: 3-5 years
Credentialing Timeframe: 30-90 Days or less if in a pinch. Can do emergency crediting
Physician will be credentialed for 3 yrs in their system
