AdventHealth Primary Care Network is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA-C) to join anexisting practice in Lake Wales, Florida. AdventHealth Primary Care Network is a primary care group aligned with AdventHealth specialty physicians that uses leading technology, innovation, and compassion to deliver whole-person care. Join our team of 350+ primary care providers throughout the AdventHealth Florida region.

The APP, under the supervision of physicians, is responsible for:

Performs physical examinations of patients, assessment and treatment of injuries or illnesses for pediatric through geriatric patients, including womens health

Orders and interprets appropriate diagnostic tests, such as routine laboratory, X-ray, etc.

Independent and collaborative medical management of acute and chronic conditions

Monitors the patients course of treatment and makes appropriate referral to either a physician or specialist, as needed

Collaborates with physician supervisor and staff, as necessary to provide consistent care to patients and support to staff

Displays a caring and professional attitude at all time as well as maintaining personal and professional growth

Job Requirements

Knowledge and Skills Required:

Enthusiastic team player

Must demonstrate excellence in patient focused medical care & delivery of care

Spanish speaking, highly desired

Education and Experience Required:

Masters degree in Nursing (FNP) or Physician Assistant studies

Prefer primary care outpatient experience. New grads will be considered.

Experience treating patients of all ages and a variety of acute & chronic conditions desired

Licensure, Certification, and Registration:

Current, valid Florida APRN or PA-C license

Current, valid DEA license

ANCC, AANP or NCCPA (or equivalent) certification

Current BLS required; ACLS preferred
