Wonderful NP/PA Nocturnist Opportunity in Frederick, MD.

Position Highlights:

• 18 bed observation unit
• Responsible for admissions from the ED to the Obs unit, 4 hour touch bases with nursing and case management, and discharges (yes discharges happen overnight)
• All labs, testing, etc' are stat so they can discharge/move the patient within 24 to 36 hours out of the unit
• Hours: 7pm to 7am
• Schedule: 5 nights on/5 nights off
• EMR: Meditech Expanse
• Codes: Run by CC team, but attend if it is in the Observation Unit
• Full Subspecialty support
• Hospitalist team and 2 Nocturnists at night for the APP to confer with
• Acute Care Hospitalist experienced required
• Compensation is $140k/year plus incentives
